Description
The City of Florence seeks a qualified contractor to fully demolish, clear, and grade eight vacant properties on West Carver Street. The scope includes site inspection, permitting, utility handling, complete structure removal, vegetation control, debris disposal, grading, backfilling, and provision of temporary facilities, all to be completed within a tight 30‑day window after notice to proceed. The contract requires performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price, as well as extensive insurance coverage.
• Demolition of existing structures, foundations, slabs, tanks, and related improvements at 904‑918 W. Carver St.
• Full site preparation: utility capping, vegetation removal, grading, erosion control, backfilling, and final cleanup.
• Mandatory compliance with bonding, insurance, and permitting requirements; work must be finished within 30 calendar days, with $100/day liquidated damages for delays.
