Budget estimate

$10,000 – $30,000

Based on typical residential lead‑abatement projects in Maine (average $8‑$15 per square foot), a single‑family home of roughly 1,200 sq ft would generate costs between $9,600 and $18,000. Adding overhead, disposal fees, and contingency pushes the likely contract value to a range of $10,000‑$30,000. The estimate assumes no extraordinary structural complexities and that the contractor provides all labor, equipment, and disposal services.
