Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of Corrugated Aluminum Pipe and Aluminum Bands. The pipes must meet the 2024 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures and any addenda thereto. The successful vendor will be required to deliver the pipes to the NCDOT Pitt County Maintenance location within 30 consecutive calendar days after receipt of the purchase order. The vendor must also provide a copy of the manufacturer's standard warranty and be authorized by the manufacturer to distribute or resell the products.
Key points to consider:
• The bid must include all applicable charges for shipping, delivery, handling, administrative, and other similar fees.
• The vendor must provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization within five consecutive calendar days upon request from the agency.
• The vendor must complete and return the Pricing Form, HUB Supplemental Vendor Information form, and Location of Workers Utilized by Vendor form with their bid response.
• The State reserves the right to waive any minor informality or technicality in bids received and to reject all bids if it is considered to be in the best interest of the State.
