Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking quotes for various roadway and bridge projects. The projects include construction, bridge and drawbridge, curb and gutter, highway and road, pipe culvert, sewer and storm drain, sidewalk and driveway, and streets. The quotes should be submitted electronically through the GADOT/AASHTO Electronic Bidding System. The successful bidder will be required to perform the work in accordance with the applicable edition of the DOT Specifications as amended by the contract provisions. Some key aspects of the project include:
• Construction of bridges and approaches on various roads
• Milling, inlay, and plant mix resurfacing on SR 30
• Installation of traffic control devices, pavement markings, and raised pavement markers
• Construction of curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveways
• Installation of storm sewer manholes, catch basins, and drop inlets
The project has a completion date of May 31, 2029, and the contract time will be as indicated in the proposal. Payment will be made to the contractor each calendar month based on the estimated work complete in place as prescribed by the specifications.
