The United States Coast Guard is requesting quotations for a 5-inch wafer-style check valve for the salt water supply to the main diesel engine. The valve should have an ASME flange rating of 150 lbs and be flangeless with an external torsional spring to assist in faster closures. The order can be mixed with both the Emerson Automation Solutions and Champion Valve Inc. parts, as they are the same form, fit, and function. Each item should be individually packaged and marked according to specific standards.
