AN/BQS-25 Lightweight Low Cost Conformal Array (LwLCCA) Production and Engineering Support

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation for the production of AN/BQS-25 Lightweight Low Cost Conformal Array (LwLCCA) and engineering support. The contract will include engineering and technical support for system integration, testing, software maintenance, and integrated logistics support. The LwLCCA is a passive planar array integrated with the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) system to provide enhanced situational awareness and collision avoidance. • The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with a base period of 1 year and 4 optional years. • The contract will include spare material requirements, such as array modules, electronic components, and cabling. • The contract will also include provisions to procure anticipated Fleet's hardware surge requirements. • The award of the contract will be based on the sole source exception, as Lockheed Martin is the only known source with the requisite knowledge and ability to satisfy the Government's requirement.
