FTW506 Life Safety Repairs

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to perform life safety repairs at Hangar 1, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The project includes installing power to accommodate the Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer and the Transportable Flight Procedure Simulator, connecting simulators to the fire alarm system, converting bay areas to a wet pipe sprinkler system, and correcting egress deficiencies and other life safety repairs. The construction cost limitation is $21,000,000, and the performance period will be approximately 600 calendar days. • The project requires coordination with the SHPO to ensure compliance with historical building regulations. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have a proposal manager role established in the PIEE system. • The solicitation will be available for download on or about 18 May 2026, and electronic proposal submissions will only be accepted via the PIEE Solicitation Module website.
