F-16 Aircraft Ejection Seat

The United States Air Force is seeking to establish a contract for the acquisition of the F-16 Aircraft Ejection Seat. The seat is part of the Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES) II suite used in the Fighting Falcon. The current projected quantity is 2 ejection seats over a 1-year period. The contractor shall manufacture each ejection seat to meet OEM specifications and provide Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and capabilities of the as stated in section 1.0. • The ejection seat is a third generation seat capable of ejecting a pilot from zero-zero conditions up to a maximum altitude and air speeds in the 600 KEAS range. • The seat is essentially a shell, meaning it does not include accessories, pyrotechnics, or a number of functional components. • The customer is able to order a TCTO (Time Compliance Technical Order) Kit in order to "build" the configuration needed for mission support. • The part is Military Unique and is classified as Critical Safety Items (CSI). • The contractor shall be responsible for the transportation and costs incurred to move all equipment to/from and between locations for testing and/or demonstration purposes.
