Addendum 1 - Scale House and Entrance Improvements v1

This public‑works contract covers the demolition of an existing scale‑house and truck scale, and the construction of a new scale‑house building, two new truck scales, and associated site improvements at the Salina municipal solid‑waste landfill. The work includes earthwork, grading, pavement, curbs, lighting, fencing, gate automation, utility coordination, storm‑water controls, and landscaping, all under a firm‑unit‑price bid format. • Demolition of the old scale house, scales, pavement, and fence; construction of a new scale‑house building (architectural, structural, MEP). • Installation of two truck‑scale units with foundations, approach slabs, catwalks, and remote‑display infrastructure (delegated design). • Comprehensive site work: excavation, fine grading, concrete paving (4‑in. & 8‑in.), curbs, queue lights, wheel stops, signage, bollards, fencing, gate, storm‑water drainage, erosion control, and seeding/landscaping. • Coordination of utilities (water, sanitary sewer, electrical service, communications, generator) and provision of temporary facilities and traffic‑control measures.
