Description
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the removal of trees near Jay Cooke State Park due to spruce budworm and emerald ash borer forest health issues in the area. The goal of this project is to cut and remove trees identified within the project area boundaries. The trees being removed are spruce, fir, and ash. Materials must be hauled off-site. Cutting will require traffic control, safety signs, and coordination with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for potential lane closures.
• The project involves removing trees along Highway 210 and in the campground area.
• A mandatory pre-bid site visit will take place at Jay Cooke State Park.
• Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the Swift Portal.
• The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions.
