The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to manufacture and supply a globe valve. The valve must be manufactured in accordance with Carleton Technologies Inc. Drawing B47466, Part Number B47466-1, with certain modifications and amplifications. The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance certifying that the items/components furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. The contractor must also maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 and provide traceability markings on the material. Key requirements include: * Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis of material * Certification data must be submitted to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for review and acceptance prior to each shipment of material * The contractor must develop written procedures that implement the material control requirements stated in the contract * The contractor must maintain adequate records of all inspections and tests * The contractor must ensure that the purchased product conforms to specified purchase requirements and this contract
