The U.S. Navy is seeking a qualified contractor to supply a complete stem assembly for a 10‑inch ball valve used in critical shipboard systems. The assembly includes the stem (piece 79), retaining nut (piece 80), and bushing (piece 81) and must conform to a series of detailed naval drawings and specifications. All materials must meet specific alloy and heat‑treatment requirements, undergo extensive non‑destructive testing, and be accompanied by certification data and traceability documentation. The contractor must also provide welding procedures, quality‑system compliance (ISO‑9001 or MIL‑I‑45208), and adhere to strict configuration‑control and warranty provisions. • Provide stem, retaining nut, and bushing per Naval Ships Systems Command drawings 803‑4385051, 4384678‑C2, C6, etc. • Material specifications: UNS C90300 (ASTM‑B505) for nut; QQ‑N‑286 for stem, with required chemical/mechanical analysis. • Required testing: weld repair/production weld, dye‑penetrant, ultrasonic, slow‑strain‑rate tensile test (performed by approved labs). • Certifications: Non‑destructive test reports, material certification (OQE), Certificate of Compliance, and traceability markings per MIL‑STD‑792. • Quality system: ISO‑9001 (or MIL‑I‑45208) with calibration per ISO‑10012/ANSI‑Z540.3. • Warranty: 1‑year from delivery. • Delivery to designated Navy depot; all shipments must be accepted via WAWF before release.
