Description
The City of Northglenn is seeking a qualified contractor to perform design‑build grading, excavation, and construction of a new parking lot at its Civic Center campus. The work includes demolition of existing pavement, extensive earthwork, installation of curb and gutter systems, storm‑water infrastructure, new asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks, ADA‑compliant parking stalls, lighting, signage, and related utilities. The contract will be awarded on a fixed‑price, unit‑price basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Demolition of existing asphalt, concrete sidewalks, driveways, gutters, and trash enclosure.
• Earthwork: clearing & grubbing, grading & compaction (≈ 8,623 CY), and soil export (≈ 2,417 CY).
• Pavement: 1,600 tons of 4‑in. asphalt, 1,600 CY of aggregate base, concrete sidewalks (545 SY), curb‑gutter installations (≈ 2,350 LF).
• Utilities & site amenities: reinforced concrete pipe, stormwater inlet, lighting poles, luminaries, PVC conduit, landscaping rock, weed barrier, and ADA‑compliant markings.
