Description
The State of North Carolina, Department of Transportation, is seeking bids for the provision of Reinforced Concrete Pipe. The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to obtain pricing from vendors to furnish and deliver Reinforced Concrete Pipe for Wake County Maintenance (Bunn) Maintenance. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract (one-time purchase).
Key features of the job include:
• The pipe must conform to the NCDOT 2024 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures.
• The pipe must be inspected, approved, and stamped by an NCDOT Materials & Test inspector.
• The vendor must be authorized by the manufacturer to distribute or resell the products.
• The vendor must provide a copy of the manufacturer's standard warranty.
• The vendor must complete and return the Pricing Form, HUB Supplemental Vendor Information form, and Location of Workers Utilized by Vendor form.
The State encourages the vendor to identify opportunities to reduce the total cost to the State. A continuous improvement effort consisting of various ideas to enhance business efficiencies as performance progresses.
