Geosynthetics (2026-2027)

The County of Chemung is seeking bids for the purchase of geosynthetic materials used in highway construction, including geotextile fabrics for various applications. The contract term will be from the date of award through March 31, 2027, with the option to extend for an additional year. Bidders must provide proof of financial and technical ability to produce and provide all bid items. The County reserves the right to award each bid item to multiple vendors and to reject any or all bids. • The contract includes geotextile fabrics for underdrain/filtration, undercut/reinforcement, slope protection, bedding, turbidity curtain, silt fencing with stakes attached, structure waterproofing membrane, GeoGrids, and GeoCells. • The County is a tax-exempt entity. • The contract may be extended for up to one additional year under the same terms and conditions. • Bidders must comply with all applicable laws, orders, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The County reserves the right to inspect the bidder's facilities and to inspect and/or test materials.
