Description
The City of Asheville is seeking bids for the resurfacing of selected roads throughout the city. The work will include milling existing asphalt, patching, utility adjustments, concrete repair, ADA ramp installation, asphalt curb installation, and paving. The city has adopted a Business Inclusion Policy to encourage women and minority businesses' participation in the public bidding process. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond, cash, or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent of the bid proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract amount.
