The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is seeking a dual-channel patch-clamp amplifier system to support high-resolution electrophysiological recordings of human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC)-derived cell types. The system must meet the minimum salient characteristics outlined in the attached Purchase Description. The system will enable precise measurement of ionic currents and membrane potentials necessary to evaluate cellular maturity, subtype identity, and functional phenotype in electrically excitable cells.
The key features of the system include:
• Low-noise, high-stability performance for both voltage-clamp and current-clamp configurations
• Compatibility with existing electrophysiology workflows and data acquisition infrastructure
• All necessary components, including amplifier mainframe, headstages, control software, calibration tools, mounting hardware, and electrode holders
• Full functionality upon delivery and compatibility with existing laboratory infrastructure
The contractor shall provide one dual-channel patch-clamp amplifier system meeting the minimum salient characteristics outlined in Attachment 1.
