Description
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is seeking innovative commercial products and technologies to support the development and deployment of the Live-Fire Evaluation Tool (LFET) training solution. The goal of the Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) is to identify a commercial solution that enhances Marine lethality via improving weapons proficiency and skill development by providing real-time live fire shot detection and scoring capability. The CSO seeks innovative solutions that address the following areas: live fire shot detection and scoring, generation of After Action Reports (AAR), support for live fire tracking of various weapon platforms, and display of shooter position, direction of fire, hits, and misses on a graphical interface.
• The solution should be able to operate at designated live-fire and maneuver ranges and support at a minimum squad size unit scoring and evaluation.
• The solution should be able to track and score live fire shooter position, direction of fire, hits, and misses on targets at the individual Marine level.
• The solution should be capable of fully operating and withstanding all environmental conditions and terrain conditions.
• The solution should be able to generate AARs upon completion of each training session that provide evaluation of each Marine’s performance.
• The solution should be able to support the live fire tracking of various weapon platforms.
• The solution should be able to display on a graphical interface playback of shooter during and after each exercise.
