The US Navy is soliciting quotes for the repair of a DRAWER, REGULATOR. The contractor will be responsible for performing all inspection requirements and ensuring that the repaired item meets the operational and functional requirements. The item must be free from mercury contamination, and the contractor must obtain written approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer if the inclusion of metallic mercury is required. The contract will include a 1-year warranty, and the contractor must provide a "Warning Plate" if mercury is used as a functional part of the item. • The contractor must perform all inspection and testing requirements as specified in the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings. • The contractor must keep records of all inspection work and make them available to the Government during the performance of the contract and for a period of 365 calendar days after final delivery. • The contractor must ensure that the repaired item is packaged, preserved, and marked in accordance with the Contract/Purchase Order Schedule and MIL-STD 2073. • The contractor must provide proof of being an authorized distributor of the original manufacturer's item if they desire to be considered as a potential source for award of this contract.
