REQUEST FOR BID - Globe Valves with Actuators

Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking a supplier to provide new, unused globe valves with electric actuators for the Covina Pressure Control Structure. The contract is supply‑only (no installation) and requires compliance with three internal specifications covering painting, actuator performance, and valve construction. The scope includes: • 2 units of 8‑in. 300 psi globe valve with actuator • 1 unit of 12‑in. 300 psi globe valve with actuator • 3 units of 16‑in. 300 psi globe valve with actuator All items must meet ASME pressure class 150/300, API 623, NSF‑61 where water‑contact, and be coated per specification ME‑09900 (system NE‑1S). Bidders must submit electronic bids via PlanetBids, attach required forms (conflict of interest, certifications, warranty, actuator details, etc.), and maintain a bid validity of at least 180 days.
