PROHEAT 35 (SOLE SOURCE)

The opportunity is for the procurement of direct replacement parts for the ProHeat 35 Miller Induction Machine, which is currently installed and being utilized at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The required items are proprietary to Miller Induction Heating and must be used to ensure a safe and proficient setup. The equipment is needed for upcoming Shafting Carrier Overhauls to prevent work stoppage. • The required items include ProHeat 35, Induction Cooler, Running Gear, Output Cable, Liquid Cooled Heating Cable, Temperature Sensor, and Extension Cable. • The items must be compatible with the existing ProHeat 35 Miller Induction Machine and have the ability to heat up components to the desired amount programmed. • The equipment is needed to prevent work stoppage and must comply with the welding process used for heat treatment.
