SEAGLIDER SGX AUTONOMOUS UNDERWATER VEHICLES (AUV), SENSORS, AND SUPPLIES

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to negotiate a sole-source contract for the acquisition of Seaglider SGX autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV), sensors, and supplies. The AUVs must be compatible with existing infrastructure, piloting software, and specialized payloads. The contract will include a base year and two 1-year option periods. The Government intends to negotiate with the University of Washington (UW) for non-personal supplies to provide the base vehicle AUVs, integrated conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) sensors, and necessary field support equipment. • The AUVs must be compatible with existing PIFSC infrastructure and piloting software. • The AUVs must be able to integrate with specialized payloads. • The contract includes a base year and two 1-year option periods. • The Government is seeking a sole-source contract with the University of Washington (UW). • The contract includes the provision of base vehicle AUVs, integrated CTD sensors, and field support equipment.
