Transportation Parking Lot Improvements

The New Buffalo Area Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to improve the Transportation parking lot, including expansion, resurfacing, and associated site work. The project objectives are to improve the overall parking lot condition and durability, expand usable parking and traffic flow areas, provide a properly graded and compacted surface, and upgrade traffic control features. The scope of work includes site preparation and excavation, base installation, asphalt work, and striping and traffic controls. The contractor must demonstrate experience with asphalt paving and site development, capability to perform excavation, grading, and paving work, proper insurance and licensing for work in Michigan, and ability to meet school site safety requirements. • The project requires a lump sum cost for the total project and a breakdown of costs. • The contractor must provide proof of liability insurance and describe asphalt materials and installation methods. • The project start date is no earlier than July 1, 2026, and the completion date is not specified. • The contractor must coordinate work to minimize disruption to school operations and maintain a clean and safe worksite.
