Description
The U.S. Navy (NAVFAC Far East) is seeking quotations for a straight‑lease of approximately 60 vehicles (sedans, SUVs, passenger vans, and panel vans) to support Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) field offices across six locations in Japan (Atsugi, Iwakuni, Misawa, Okinawa, Sasebo, Yokosuka). The lease will run for a base year with multiple option years (total contract period up to five years). Vehicles must meet specific dimensional, engine‑displacement, and registration requirements, be either gasoline‑driven or hybrid, and be registered with Japanese authorities with standard Kanji license plates. All taxes, statutory inspections (“shaken”), and related costs are to be borne by the contractor and included in the lease price. Quotations are to be submitted in Japanese yen, electronically in PDF format, and must include completed check‑boxes and dimensions for each line item. The contract may be awarded to a single vendor for all line items or split among multiple vendors, and the government reserves the right to award each line item separately. Delivery of all vehicles must occur on or before 1 July 2027, with the possibility of staggered deliveries.
