Wheaton Fall 2026 Sidewalk Program

The City of Wheaton is soliciting competitive bids for the 2026 Fall Sidewalk Program. The project includes PCC sidewalk installation, sidewalk removal, topsoil furnish and place, sodding, parkway restoration, concrete curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, driveway apron removal and replacement, tree removal, and all incidental, appurtenant, and collateral work necessary to complete the project within the project limits. The project is expected to be completed by November 30, 2026. • The project requires the contractor to provide a bid bond of 10% of the full contract price. • The contractor must also provide a payment bond, performance bond, and maintenance bond. • The contractor must carry and maintain adequate insurance consistent with the requirements listed in Exhibit C-Insurance Requirements. • The contractor must submit a proposal guaranty in the proper amount, as specified in the BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals. • The contractor must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Drug-Free Workplace Act.
