Description
This solicitation seeks a contractor to remove the existing sand and liner from the outdoor volleyball court adjacent to Building B1657 at Joint Base Andrews, and replace them with new sand and a durable liner per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The work includes:
• Removal and proper disposal of existing sand and liner in compliance with federal and Maryland environmental regulations.
• Supply and installation of approximately 16 inches of compacted sand meeting particle‑size specifications (0.50–1.00 mm).
• Installation of a new liner and durable perimeter edging (12 in. around the border, ~34 in. toward center).
• Protection of existing net posts and drainage system; no major excavation required.
• Coordination of staging, delivery, and dump‑truck access with base security; base passes required for personnel and vehicles.
• Completion under a firm‑fixed‑price contract; all product data for sand and geotextile must be submitted for approval.
