Description
This project calls for the complete removal of existing floor finishes and installation of new luxury vinyl tile (LVT) throughout the four‑story residence‑life building, Hapner Hall, at Montana State University. The work includes substrate preparation, primer and encapsulation of hazardous material, placement of rubber reducer strips at all doorways, and delivery/just‑in‑time staging of all materials. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, temporary facilities, waste management, warranties, and close‑out documentation, and must comply with MSU safety, environmental, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
• Total floor area: 15,676 sq ft across four floors.
• Specified product: Shaw Contract “Solitude Woodland” LVT, with UZIN PE414 primer, Ardex encapsulation, and listed adhesives.
