The City of Salina is soliciting bids for the demolition of an existing scale‑house building, construction of a new scale‑house with full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, installation of two new truck scales, extensive earthwork, paving, utility connections, storm‑water infrastructure, and site‑wide landscaping at the municipal solid‑waste landfill. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and services, coordinate with ongoing landfill operations, and meet detailed technical specifications (including remote display poles, hardware set 6.0, dowel bars, guard rails, and concrete strength). • Demolition, new concrete building, and two truck‑scale installations. • Earthwork, grading, sub‑grade preparation, and 99,631 SF of concrete pavement with 4,000 psi strength. • Utility installation (water, sewer, electrical service, conduit for future fiber), storm‑water structures, septic tank, and extensive site‑wide erosion‑control and landscaping.
