Description
The Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) is seeking a contractor to provide training instructors for the Littoral Craft Company (LCC) at two locations: Tampa, FL, and Galveston, TX. The instructors will provide training on tactical small craft operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance, standard operating procedures, and tactics. The contractor will deliver government-provided group-paced instruction in both classroom and underway training environments. The contractor will also assess crew proficiency and provide remediation as necessary.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Providing instruction on tactical small boat operations and tactics
• Advising and instructing on user-level maintenance and repair of MMRC-A and ELC systems
• Operating MMRC-A and ELC watch stations during underway operations
• Performing classroom and operational instruction on MMRC-A and ELC characteristics and systems
• Providing basic and specialized training in small boat operations and tactical employment
• Assessing training locations and support facilities to determine feasibility for training activities
• Developing supplemental training materials and evaluating individual and crew proficiency in tactical small boat operations
