The US Government Publishing Office is requesting quotations for the production of 40,000 identification tags. The tags must be weather-resistant, durable, and have a specific design with text and rules in fade and weather-resistant black ink. The contractor must also submit a pre-production sample for approval before printing the entire quantity. The product must be made in the USA, and the contractor must comply with the specified quality assurance levels and standards.
• The tags must have a trim size of 3-1/8 x 6-1/4" and be printed on white Valeron 5-8 mil thick stock.
• The contractor must apply a non-gloss, matte finish lamination on both sides at the top.
• The contractor must round all corners and place a 1/2" diameter hole 1/2" from the top dimension, centered left to right.
• The product must be packed in cartons to prevent damage in transit and delivered by traceable means with signature required.
• The contractor must comply with the GPO Contract Terms (GPO Pub. 310.2, effective December 20, 1987 (Rev. 1-18)) and the specified standards for the attributes requiring them.
