Sources Sought Announcement for NSN 5975-01-188-8873, Mounting Base MT-6352/VRC

The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen is seeking sources to manufacture the Mounting Base MT-6352/VRC, a component of the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS). The SINCGARS is a family of Very High Frequency-Frequency Modulation (VHF-FM) combat net radios designed to provide command and control for combat support and combat service support units. The Mounting Base MT-6352/VRC is a major component of the Installation Kits (IKs) for the SINCGARS. The key points of this opportunity are: • The Government possesses the technical data package (TDP) for the parts, which is available for release. • The TDP includes level 3 production information. • The manufacturer(s) shall have the capability to complete the First Article Test (FAT) successfully and commence delivery within 10 months after the contract award. • The Government is seeking information from sources who can manufacture the listed parts or services. • The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action.
