Description
This opportunity is for the repair of valve regulatin, P/N 2770073-114. The contractor will be required to perform all inspection and testing requirements as specified in the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings. The contract has a required repair turnaround time (RTAT) of 49 days after receipt of the asset. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the government for all assets within the RTAT established in the subsequent contract.
Some key points to consider are:
• The contractor must provide a throughput constraint for each national stock number (NSN).
• The contractor must accurately report all transactions by the end of the fifth regular business day after receipt.
• The contractor must not scrap or cannibalize any items until written authorization is provided by the NAVSUP WSS procurement contracting officer.
• The material supplied under this contract must contain no metallic mercury and be free from mercury contamination.
