Intent to Sole Source - 304 SABRE Parachute and Equipment

The US Air Force is intending to issue a sole-source procurement action for the procurement of parachute equipment, including SABRE 3 parachutes, reserve canopies, and other related items. The requirement is being sole-sourced to Complete Parachute Solutions, INC (CPS) because they are the only manufacturer of the approved items, as specified in the Air Force Personnel Parachute Program (PPP) Approved For Use List. • The procurement includes 2 SABRE 3 170 parachutes, 4 SABRE 3 190 parachutes, 6 SABRE 3 210 parachutes, and other related items. • The Air Force Personnel Parachute Program (PPP) has an Approved For Use List that specifically identifies the authorized parachute systems. • The procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Part 13.501(a) and AFI 10-3503.
