Description
The US Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a vendor to provide a manual lathe for the Trident Refit Facility in Bangor, Washington. The lathe must meet specific requirements, including a maximum footprint of 108.3" x 47.2" x 57.1" and a maximum machine weight of 3747.7 lbs. The vendor must provide a turnkey system, including design, manufacture, testing, and installation of the equipment. The vendor must also provide operator and maintenance manuals, as well as training for Government personnel.
• The lathe must be able to perform various functions, including turning, facing, and threading.
• The lathe must be equipped with a digital readout system and a warranty for at least one year.
• The vendor must provide a list of recommended consumable spare parts and possible sources for procurement.
• The vendor must ensure that all materials and parts used in the system are new and of current design and manufacture.
