Description
The Montebello Unified School District is seeking a qualified firm to design, furnish, install, calibrate, and maintain a dedicated materials‑testing laboratory that will serve the new Montebello High School Aquatic Center. The lab will support testing of construction materials, pool‑side structural components, and other aquatic‑facility elements throughout the construction phase. Bidders must provide the required sexual abuse and molestation liability insurance and may be asked to act as the Geotechnical Engineer of Record (GEOR) for related geotechnical services.
• Scope includes full design, equipment procurement, installation, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of a materials‑testing lab.
• Project schedule: construction start June 1 2026 with an estimated 426 working days (≈ 14 months) to completion.
• Mandatory insurance: $1 M per incident / $1 M aggregate sexual abuse & molestation liability coverage.
• No mandatory Small Business Enterprise participation, but good‑faith efforts are encouraged.
