Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is requesting quotations for the procurement of an electro-mechanical actuator. The actuator is for use in an electronic governor on a MAN diesel engine, specifically the D0824LE301 model used in the ship service diesel generator. The contractor must provide 25 units of the actuator, and each unit must be individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10. The packaging must include cushioning to prevent movement or damage from external impact, and the item must be packed in an ASTM-D5118 double-wall fiberboard box. The package must be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129R, except for bar coding, which must be done in accordance with ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39 symbology.
• The actuator must meet the specified requirements, including being an electro-mechanical actuator for use in an electronic governor on a MAN diesel engine.
• The contractor must provide a letter from the OEM verifying that they are an authorized distributor and will supply genuine OEM parts.
• The contract will be awarded on an all-or-none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the government.
• The award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
