J999 Machine Lower Bearing Staves of Rudder Service

The U.S. Navy is soliciting proposals for the machining of lower bearing staves of rudder service. The work will be performed at the U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and JRMC in Yokosuka, Japan. The contractor will be required to provide all equipment and materials necessary to complete the work, except for items listed in Appendix M of the performance work statement. The period of performance is from 1 Feb 2027 to 31 Mar 2027. • The contractor will be responsible for completing the tasks described in the performance work statement. • The contractor will be required to submit a schedule of work to support integration with the existing project schedule. • The contractor will be required to participate in work package execution reviews and schedule model reviews as needed. • The contractor will be responsible for safeguarding all government equipment, information, and property provided for contractor use.
