Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that can provide a Weapon Firing Range for the Stockton Area Office. The scope of work includes providing use of the firing range facilities, maintaining the range, and ensuring compliance with range safety rules. The contract term is expected to be from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The CHP will award the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder that offers the lowest cost.
• The firing range must be available for use by CHP personnel four days every three months, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• The contractor must provide restroom facilities if available.
• The contractor must maintain the firing range and ensure compliance with range safety rules.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance evidencing the required insurance coverage.
• The contractor must comply with all terms and conditions of the agreement, including those related to payment, invoicing, and termination.
