B026-63 Pulaski Gymnasium Floor Replacement

The City of Meriden is seeking a contractor to remove and replace the gymnasium floor at Casimir Pulaski Elementary School. The project includes ripping out and disposing of the existing flooring, prepping the area, and installing new flooring. The contractor will be responsible for providing dumpsters for disposal and maintaining them throughout the project. The work is expected to begin after school has been dismissed for the year and should be completed by August 14, 2026. The project includes the installation of wood athletic flooring, underlayment, and finishes, as well as the replacement of thresholds and doors. • The contractor must be approved by the manufacturer for the installation of the flooring system. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance denoting general liability, automobile liability, workers compensation liability, and other coverage required by the City's Risk Manager. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wages, labor laws, and environmental regulations. • The contractor must provide a Non-Collusive Statement/Affidavit and a Bidder's Qualification Statement. • The contractor must provide a Form of Surety Guaranty and a Bid Bond.
