CASTING, SLEEVE

The US Navy is soliciting quotes for the production of casting sleeves. The sleeves must meet specific requirements, including radiography testing and inspection. The contractor must be responsible for preparing radiographic shooting sketches and submitting them for approval. All pieces radiographed must be permanently marked with "RT" and a unique RT serial number. The contractor must also submit film, RSS/RSSS, RS, and DD250 for final acceptance. • The casting sleeves must meet the requirements of ASTM-B369 and T9074-AS-GIB-010/271. • The contractor must perform radiography testing in accordance with T9074-AS-GIB-010/271. • The contractor must submit film, RSS/RSSS, RS, and DD250 for final acceptance. • The contractor must ensure that all welds and brazes meet the requirements of S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278 and 0900-LP-001-7000.
