Addendum 1 - Scale House and Entrance Improvements v1

This municipal project replaces the existing scale house and truck‑scale facility at the Salina Municipal Solid Waste Landfill and upgrades road entrance infrastructure. The contractor will demolish the old scale house, construct a new scale‑house building (full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems), install two new truck scales with foundations and cat‑walks, execute extensive earthwork, grading, and paving, install site utilities (drainage, water, sewer, electrical, conduit), and provide site‑control features such as fencing, gates, bollards, lighting, and landscaping. The work must be substantially complete by 31 Dec 2026 with final completion (including seeding/landscaping) by 3 May 2027. • Demolition of existing scale house and truck‑scale, followed by new building construction (structural, MEP). • Installation of two truck scales, foundations, approach slabs, cat‑walks, and related site utilities. • Earthwork, grading, 4‑in. & 8‑in. concrete pavements, curbs, parking lot, fencing, gate, lighting, and landscaping. • Compliance with SWPPP, NPDES, safety, and quality‑control requirements; performance, payment bonds, and insurance required.
