Notice of Intent to Sole Source 6.1 acres of land at Kennedy Space Center

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is announcing its intent to sole source the use of approximately 6.1 acres of under-utilized land at the Kennedy Space Center. The land is located adjacent to LC-39A and is intended to support NASA's mission by advancing the commercial space economy. The proposed Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) is a reasonable expansion to a current tenant to support landing operations related to LC-39A launch activity. • The land is approximately 6.1 acres in size • The land is located adjacent to LC-39A at the Kennedy Space Center • The proposed EUL is intended to support NASA's mission by advancing the commercial space economy • The proposed tenant is a long-standing commercial partner and tenant of NASA • Responses received by July 15, 2026, will be used to assess additional market interest and determine whether, to whom, and under what terms the facility may be out-granted to ensure best value to the Government
