USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) AFFF VALVE AND STRAINER IN AFFF STATION NO.2; REPLACE / DECK IN AFFF STATION NO.2; PRESERVE

The US Navy intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the replacement of the AFFF valve and strainer in AFFF station No.2 and preservation of the deck in AFFF station No.2 on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47). The solicitation will be restricted to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders located in Japan. The work is expected to be performed at the Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan. • The solicitation is expected to be competitive. • The work will be performed in Japan. • Offerors must be able to demonstrate their authorization to perform the required work within Japan. • The planned period of performance is from October 12, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
