Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking information from potential vendors for high-performance computing (HPC) software development and technical services. The services will support the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) in its mission to develop comprehensive, integrated, and unified models of the Earth system. The scope of work includes software development, technical support, and management support services. The contract is anticipated to be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a one-year base ordering period and four additional one-year optional ordering periods.
• The contractor will provide HPC software development and technical support services to the GFDL.
• The services will include management support, technical support, and scientific support.
• The contractor will work with the GFDL to develop and implement new software and technologies.
• The contractor will provide support for the GFDL's HPC systems and applications.
• The contractor will work with the GFDL to ensure that all systems and applications are functional and secure.
