Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC); Digital Group; Depot Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Depot Maintenance System (NDMS) IT Program/Project Functional Requirements, and Software Lifecycle Support (ITPSS)

The Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Digital Group is seeking information from potential contractors to determine their ability to provide IT program/project functional requirements and software lifecycle support for the Depot Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Depot Maintenance System (NDMS). The contractor will be required to support approximately 20-25 concurrent complex business transformation projects, with agile software development teams consisting of both government and contractor personnel. The contract type is anticipated to be a Commercial, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials contract, with a Five-Year Ordering period. • The contractor will be required to provide direct support of an operational information technology (IT) system that enables weapon systems lifecycle sustainment activities to service the Warfighter. • The contractor will be required to maintain and upgrade systems, requiring a selection of skilled individuals with catered skillsets across organizations. • The contractor will be required to develop new IT solutions and capabilities in response to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), and Consolidation and Rationalization (C&R) activities.
