The City of Salina is soliciting a firm‑unit‑price bid for the demolition of an existing scale house, construction of a new scale‑house building, installation of two truck scales, and extensive site‑improvement work at the Salina Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. The scope includes civil earthwork, concrete paving, storm‑water infrastructure, fencing, lighting, utility coordination, and final landscaping. The contractor is responsible for delegated design of the scales and associated walkways, as well as compliance with SWPPP and Kansas energy‑code requirements. • Demolition, new building, and two truck‑scale installations (incl. foundations, approach slabs, catwalks). • Earthwork, grading, 4‑in. & 8‑in. concrete pavement, curbs, parking lot, and drainage improvements. • Site‑wide utilities, fencing, remote‑operated gate, signage, lighting, and post‑construction seeding/landscaping.
