Description

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is seeking proposals from firms to provide 2026 Traffic Signal Cabinets (TSC) in compliance with the Specifications and Idaho Code. The successful respondent will be required to provide NEMA Type 5s and 6s Traffic Signal Cabinets as specified in the Specifications. The contract will be awarded to the firm that best meets the specifications and is deemed to be in the best interest of ACHD. • The proposal must include a completed Specification Matrix, which will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis for Part A and point-based system for Parts B-J. • The respondent must provide proof of licensure, if applicable, and submit their proposal through the ACHD eProcurement Portal. • The contract may be extended for up to 180 days, and ACHD may order additional units as budget restraints allow.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

Based on the quantity of traffic signal cabinets required (5 NEMA Type 5s and 18 NEMA Type 6s), the budget can be estimated to be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000, considering the average cost of a traffic signal cabinet can range from $5,000 to $20,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on the specifics of the proposal and the bidding process.
