66--Single Purchase of a PFAS Extractor

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a fixed-price contract on a sole-source basis to PromoChrom Technologies LTD for the purchase and delivery of one SPE-03 per- and poly-fluorinated substances (PFAS) extractor. The extractor is needed for the Laboratory Services and Applied Science Division (LSASD) for the extraction of samples from soil and water matrices. The SPE-03 PFAS Extractor is the first step of the extraction of these matrices for them to be analyzed for per- and poly-fluorinated substances (PFAS). • The extractor must include specific configurations and certain specifications. • PromoChrom Technologies LTD is the only vendor uniquely qualified to configure and customize the equipment. • The purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000.00.
