AARGM-ER Commercial Inertial Measurement Units

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking to procure commercial Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) for the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile – Extended Range (AARGM-ER). This procurement is intended to be a sole source order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement with Honeywell International, Inc. The procurement is for a life of type buy for obsolete commercial IMUs. • The AARGM-ER is a guided missile system • The IMUs are a critical component of the AARGM-ER system • Honeywell International, Inc. is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AARGM-ER IMUs • The Government intends to negotiate and award a sole source order to Honeywell International, Inc.
