Request for Proposal

The Menominee Area Public School District is seeking labor bids for a roof replacement project. The project includes the removal of existing single-ply and coal tar pitch built-up roof systems, asbestos abatement, new insulation and roof system, and new steel framing with metal wall cladding. Qualified contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and be certified to perform asbestos abatement and Tremco roofing systems. • The project requires a lump sum bid proposal with a 100% performance bond and 5% bond security. • Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid due date. • Sealed bids must be mailed or hand-delivered to the Director of Operations. • The school district reserves the right to reject all proposals not deemed in the best interest of the school district.
